Let’s talk about a crucial topic that can save you from a world of travel pain – keeping your flight information organised. Now, I know what you’re thinking – “Seriously, organising flight info? Is this the best we can do?” But hold onto your seatbelt, because this is a game-changer.

Raise your hand if you’ve ever had a complete mind blank? Now, keep your hand raised if this mind blank occurred at a busy, fast-paced airport. My hand is all the way up! Since then I have had a foolproof method to ensure all my documents are super organised and easily accessible. So mind blank be gone!

Picture this exact scenario: you’re standing in the security line, feeling calm and without a care in the world because you’ve got all your documents in one place. Meanwhile, the person in front of you is digging through their carry-on bag like they’re on a game show for their boarding pass. By the time they find it, you’ve already breezed through security and are sipping your preflight vanilla iced latte like the savvy traveller you are. That’s the power of organisation. Let’s manifest this energy.

No More Gate-Change Grief

The gate change announcement – the nemesis of cosy book reading time. But fear not, with your flight info neatly organised, you’ll be the first to know about any gate changes, and you can skip over to the correct gate at the correct time without breaking a single sweat. 

How to Keep Your Flight Info in Check

• Digital Wallet Magic: Use your smartphone’s digital wallet to store boarding passes and loyalty cards for easy access. I did this with most of the flights I had within Europe and it made boarding the plane so much more efficient.
• Good Old Pen and Paper: Hey, sometimes the old-fashioned way is the best way. Print a copy of your flight information and keep a pen handy (maybe 2 if you’re like me.)
• All Hail the Apps: There are tonnes of amazing apps out there that can help you manage your flight info. Pick one that tickles your fancy and soar into the sky stress-free. My favourite is App In The Air – give it a go!
